New Year’s Day Family Picnic

If you can muster the courage to roll out of bed after a night of partying and celebration, the New Year’s Day Family Picnic at 1 Rifle Range Road, Nasrec, in Joburg South is certain to be the perfect way in which to spend the first day of 2020. There will be pools to help moderate the summer heat, foam pits, water slides, jumping castles, rocket rides, swings, live entertainment and DJs. Tickets cost R130 per person.

The Medicine Dolls SA Tour

Now is your chance to experience the post-punk band that everyone has been talking about since the beginning of 2019. Yes, we’re referring to The Medicine Dolls! The Cape Town-based band is touring South Africa and you can catch them in Jozi on the 4th of January 2020 at Rumours Rock City Westgate, 139 Ontdekkers Road, 1729 Roodepoort. Entrance costs just R50 per person!

Marvel Universe Live At Sun Arena Time Square

Marvel fans need to book their tickets for Marvel Universe Life starting from Friday, 24 January 2020 – Sunday, 09 February 2020. You can look forward to a host of incredible experiences including cutting-edge special effects, pyrotechnics, aerial manoeuvres, martial arts, vast 3D video projection, and heart-stopping motorcycle stunts. Taking place at the Sun Arena at Time Square, 209 Aramist Ave, Waterkloof Glen, Pretoria, it’s a bit of a drive, but if you’re a die-hard fan, it will be so worth it. Book tickets early to get your hands on the cheaper ones for just R195.

Jam Session Street Jam

Rock out for FREE at 1827 Thaga Street, Zondi, Soweto on Saturday, the 25th of January. You can expect to enjoy hours of entertainment from some of Johannesburg’s best up and coming singers, bands, and DJs starting from 10am through to 10pm.
