Soweto Kota Festival
Last year’s festival went off with a bang… and it’s back by popular demand. Head on over to Elkah Sports Stadium on 7 – 8 September for a gastronomic experience sure to satisfy your Kota craving! There’ll also be lots of delicious craft beer and cocktails to wash the food down.
Wine Not Festival 2019
This is the very first Wine Not Festival and it’s taking place on the 7th of September 2019 at St Stithian College in Sandton. A huge selection of wines, live entertainment and delicious food trucks are the flavour of the day. Tickets are currently selling for as little as R190 per person. Hurry and book now or you’ll likely have to fork out R260 closer to the time!
Kensington Spring Fair
Celebrate all the joys of spring at the long-running Kensington Spring Fair market, taking place on the 8th of September at Rhodes Park, Kensington. This will be the market’s 27th year and is sure to bring plenty of fun and happiness to your Sunday.
Born to Perform SHINE!
Support other young, aspiring artists at the “Born to Perform SHINE!” event at the Teatro, Monte Casino. It’ll be taking place from 13 – 15 September 2019. Tickets cost R162 – R360 per person.
Comic Con 2019
Comic book nerds of South Africa unite! Comic Con is back from 21 – 24 September 2019 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand. You can score your tickets online for as little as R130. There are some impressive celebs set to attend including Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran from GOT) and the one and only William Shatner (Captain Kirk from Star Trek).
