While some of the music acts coming to SA next year are so big, tickets are already sold out, we still can’t stop ourselves from raving about them! If you were lucky enough to get your hands on some precious tickets to these events, good for you! If not, don’t fret. We all know how those last minute, social media-driven private ticket sales go – perhaps you might just get lucky! Either way, these are the top three live music acts to look forward to in 2019.
The nice guy crooner who has taken the world by storm is heading over to South African shores. He’ll be gracing us with his best hits, including Galway Girl and Perfect, in Johannesburg on the 23rd and 24th of March 2019 at the FNB stadium. He’ll also be performing in Cape Town on the 27th and 28th of March.
Who doesn’t love a bit of old-school heavy metal? The legendary English band, Judas Priest, is also coming to South Africa next year and we have a feeling it’s going to be a head-banging success. Die-hard fans across a host of different generations will be going nuts at the Ticketpro Dome on the 22nd of March and in Cape Town before that on the 20th.
The sweet songs of Sam Smith have undoubtedly been played on repeat on many a romantic evening spent with bae. The English singer and songwriter has become endlessly popular since the release of his first number one single in 2013 and is currently one of the best-selling artists out there. You can catch him at the Ticketpro Dome on the 13th and 14th of April 2019. Capetonians will welcome him thereafter on the 16th, 17th and 18th of April.
