DigzDecor: Adding the ‘OMG’ factor to your space

By Nov 1, 2019 No Comments

digzdecor for the OMG factorJust because your place is small, doesn’t mean that you can’t make it incredible! Here are some digz décor hacks to help ensure that every single person who steps into your space can’t help but exclaim ‘OMG!’ as they enter…

Double Up Your Furniture

No, not in terms of how much of it you buy. Double up on its uses! Having multi-purpose furniture can save you endless amounts of space, and it’s trendy too. Think sleeper couches (turn it into a cosy bed at night and into a plush couch during the day) and small stools (they make for amazing bedside tables and, obviously, work well as comfortable seating options).

Mirrors, Mirrors Everywhere

Mirrors have the power to make a small space seem much, much bigger than it really is. They also add warmth and depth to a room and are relatively cheap to buy.

Put it on the Wall

Everything is art when it’s placed on a wall. Embrace this fact by using your walls as the ultimate storage/display area. Hang your vintage bike up, install a few pretty shelves for your decorative mugs or plants, or display your impressive handbag collection on a few artsy ledges.

It’s easy to hold on to old possessions for longer than you should, especially if they have sentimental value. However, clutter is not doing your space or your décor any favours. If in doubt, chuck it out! Or, better yet, sell it online for a few extra bucks.

Make it Your Own

Don’t stress too much about emulating the latest interior décor trends that you see in those glossy magazines. Any space, no matter how small, can be beautiful if it’s an extension of who you are and what you love. Inject your personality into every corner with décor and accents that really speak to you and you’ll notice an immediate difference in your digz OMG factor.

It’s your space, so make the most of it.
