African Leadership Academy

Where? 1050 Printech Ave, Roodepoort, 2040
Goal: To transform Africa by identifying, developing, and connecting the next generation of young African leaders.
Courses: Aspiring entrepreneurs may opt to sign up for the two year pre-university program or for the Entrepreneurial Leadership and African Studies course.

Raymond Ackerman Academy for Entrepreneurial Development

Where? There is an academy in both Soweto and Cape Town
Goal: To empower young people on their entrepreneurial journey while developing the business and life skills essential for success.
Courses: Aspiring entrepreneurs may apply to join the Raymond Ackerman Academy of Entrepreneurial Development once they have successfully passed matric. The course offered can only be taken on a full time basis and lasts for six months.

South African Institute for Entrepreneurship / SAIE

Where? There are academies all over the country
Goal: To address poverty and unemployment in South Africa through entrepreneurially focused initiatives.
Courses: There a number of courses available including ‘Launching Your Business Idea’, ‘Business Strategy’, Business Planning’ and ‘Business Leadership and Management’. You may also apply to take one of their infamous two-day entrepreneurship short courses.

Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship – South Africa

Where? Johannesburg
Goal: To provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the business knowledge, skills, opportunities and inspiration they need to take their business to the next level.
Courses: You will first need to apply for and complete the Entrepreneur Development Program. From there, you will be introduced to the Circle of Excellence, which opens doors to new opportunities including Business Bootcamp, mentorship and coaching.
